West Coast Flipping Championship (WCFC) 2023

Join us for the most exciting butterfly knife (balisong) flipping competition of the year. All audience members will have a chance to win amazing prizes (t-shirts, gift cards, and more)! We will also have a merch table, raffle, photo area, and more fun activities! WCFC is free to watch for all Saturday Blade Show West ticket holders.

WCFC 2023 Details: Saturday, October 14th, 2023 at Blade Show West located at Salt Palace Convention Center in Room 150G at 4:00 PM-6:00 PM. Doors open at 3:30 PM.

West Coast Flipping Championship will feature 32 flippers in total. There are 26 spots available for online pre-registration. There will also be 6 walk-in spots available which will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis starting at the beginning of Blade Show West at the Squid Industries Booth, Booth #100. We will accept walk-ins up until Saturday, October 14th 2:00 pm or until all the spots are filled.

We highly recommend to register in advance if you wish to secure a spot to compete. Registration for WCFC 2023 is $30. All competitors must have a valid Saturday Blade Show West ticket to compete. Registration will be closed when all the spots are filled. 

WCFC 2023 Prizes

1st Place: $1,000 cash prize, Exclusive prizes from Gold Sponsors, Competitor Swag Bag with merch from all sponsors

2nd Place: $500 cash prize, Exclusive prizes from Gold Sponsors, Competitor Swag Bag with merch from all sponsors

3rd Place: $250 cash prize, Exclusive prizes from Gold Sponsors, Competitor Swag Bag with merch from all sponsors

All Competitors will recieve a WCFC 2023 swag bag full of goodies from all the sponsors.

WCFC 2023 Competition Rules

1. Live blades only (no trainers)
2. No additional props (blindfolds, lights, etc.)
3. No closing, covering, or obstructing vision in any way.
4. One balisong only. No doubles.
5. No oversized balisongs or baliswords

6. No Acrobatic activities (cartwheel, back flips, front tuck, etc.)

   
   

All competitors must have valid Saturday Blade Show West tickets to enter the venue and compete.

WCFC Registration is 2 step process:

 Step 1: Purchase a ticket here. 
 Step 2: After purchasing a ticket, you will receive an email with a form to finish the registration. You must complete the form to be officially registered. If you do not receive an email within 24-48 business hours, please check your spam folder or email us through our Contact Us Page.

All competitors must check in on time at both of the mandatory check ins. Being late at either check-in may result in disqualification.
